Another shadow box card.....

I think I have a bit of an addiction to these shadow like boxes. I have made it so it folds down flat into an envelope to mail. So today I made a valentines/spring card using the ever so adorable Dreamlander stamps. I coloured this image and scene using prisma pencils.
I used a white gel pen and put little hearts on a piece of acetate and placed it in front of my little girl! My hearts on the side panels of the shadow box are from an old Martha Stewart border punch.
I am off to make another project...too cold to play outside so might as well play inside.

Winter Wonderland...outside too!

Back to winter it seems winter is going to be still around in this neck of the woods! I wanted to create a 3D card that you could fold down flat to this was a labour of love as I had no clue how to do it, I just knew what I wanted it to kind of look like! LOL
I had an old Martha Steward snowflake border punch that I punched out 10 times so I had 5 borders on each side....trying to figure out how it was going to lay flat was the tricky part. So I made tabs that you can see on each side.
I placed a piece of acetate in between  which I made snow falling with a white gel pen (thank-you Rana for the gel pen). Now once I posted this I noticed I did not put one bit of glitter...WHAT...I am going to do that later! LOL
I used the DreamerlandCraft stamp set called "Warming Up Together!" and also one of their sentiments....
Here is a bit of a view from the top. Hopefully you have warmer temps were you are!!!!
Have a great weekend!

Golf time....

 Hello New Year....
Time to put aside the Christmas card posts and move on.....I'll miss making Christmas cards for a bit but it was time to make birthday cards, Valentine's cards, Easter Cards and lots of other occasion cards! I needed two birthday cards for friends that are avid golfers!
Nothing fancy and something simple...and 3 Dimensional.

Oh I wish spring was around the corner after making these cards....we have had such cold weather here!
Thank-you for the visit and your comments. I really do appreciate your visit!

Bringing the tree home....

I'm still trying to personalize some last minute Christmas cards this week...
This card is for my next door neighbor. They have an adorable retriever named Daisy. Now Daisy had to be part of this card!
I love these dies from Tim Holtz and wanted to create a snowy scene of bringing home the Christmas tree!
A view more cards I must make so this weekend is crunch time! Have a wonderful day. Thanks again for popping in!

Two weeks until Christmas and I needed tags for my today I went ahead and made a whole bunch to add to my gifts. I used a Tim Holtz Christmas house die and just went silly with lots of snow with a gel pen...maybe a bit too much!
I kept it fairly simple as I needed a few and wanted them to make up quickly. Well...I am off to make a few more last minute Christmas cards that I will share later! Have a wonderful day and thank-you for your visit.

New addition...the four legged one!

I had to change up the posts of Christmas cards and sneak in a card I made for a friend that just added a new furry friend to her house hold. I love these new circular sentiment dies. They really come in handy.
I coloured with prismas and added lots of glitter. I had to finish the inside of the card too by adding in some paws stamped all over the kraft paper.
I am spending a big portion of today getting my Christmas cards and tags prepared so I can mail them off. Have a good day!
